Born from a passion for creating beautiful, inspiring party environments, and a love of colour, texture and pattern, the enthusiasm for creating unique events led founder Katherine Hudson to travel the world sourcing fabrics and furniture to create a range of bespoke marquees, event furniture and themed props which now decorate events with colour, texture and a unique personality.
Now in 2020 we’re evolving the way we work to ensure sustainability in what we do, and are helping our clients to do the same.
We are proud to have introduced a carbon off-set plan, giving our clients the opportunity to offset the carbon cost of transporting equipment, and the wider impact of hosting an event.
The very nature of an event is an eco-challenge – high impact and temporary, and the event industry is a major culprit in unnecessary landfill and avoidable emissions. Currently there are no practical alternatives to using diesel-fuelled trucks and vans to deliver our equipment, and with Climate Change needing drastic action from everyone, we are thinking about ways we can all take responsibility for helping with our impact, finding ways to minimise it (ask for our eco-tips for this) and providing an option to off-set where carbon still has to be spent.
We are therefore introducing a voluntary carbon off-set to out deliveries, and also calculators to look at the wider impact of other elements of an event to enable our clients to be part of the solution.

Springing from a love of outdoor parties, The Arabian Tent Company was founded in 2004 by Katherine Hudson. The magic of festivals and marquee parties captured Katherine’s imagination, soon she was hooked and decided she had to try and put on her own event.
After searching the whole of the UK for a suitable party tent, and finding nothing but white PVC marquees, Katherine realised she would have to try a little harder if she wanted to do something truly special.
