The National Wedding Industry Awards is the only regional and national client voted awards in the wedding industry. This means that the results have real meaning and are useful to both the entrants and anyone organising a wedding and looking for great wedding suppliers both regionally and nationwide. They exist to help anyone organising a wedding to make better-educated decisions when looking for their suppliers.

The differences between wedding suppliers is considerable but the price point and marketing is often very similar. Couples organising their weddings rely on marketing by wedding suppliers and word of mouth recommendations from their friends, family or their wedding venue amongst others. Damian and Anna Bailey set up TWIA to act as an industry voice offering a third source of advice to anyone organising a wedding. Now in its’ sixth year, TWIA recognises and rewards excellence in the wedding industry and to helps couples all over the country make better-educated decisions when booking their wedding suppliers.

Greenery Inspired Chandeliers

House of Hud are overjoyed to have been named National Venue Stylist of The Year 2019. We are no strangers to these awards – having been regional winners twice before in 2013 and 2015 as Best Tent Provider. Since we are renowned for styling, treating them as ‘environments’ rather than just tents, we thought we’d enter the Venue Styling category this year as it reflects more accurately how we work.

“Guests were astounded by the spectacle of the Arabian tent and many said they felt like they were in a different country or world as it provided such a magical atmosphere.”

The awards are entirely voted for by the people who had the vision and then worked directly with House of Hud: the brides, grooms and wedding planners. We are thrilled to have been recognised for our Venue Styling talents and named as the best!

This award means so much. It’s wonderful to be recognised and to read all the glowing comments. The satisfaction of the job really is the reaction of the client when they come into the space when it’s finished….seeing the look on their faces is priceless, and one of the main reasons I love my job so much.” - Jeremy Fifield
