Beach hut-themed Marquee

Creating a beach hut style tent was something we had always wanted to do, so we were really pleased to have an opportunity to try it out when Bournemouth University came to us with a seaside brief for their latest student feedback day.

Bournemouth had previously approached us last year when they were looking for something that would entice the students to come along and give their all important feedback on their time at Uni. The indoor Arabian Tent they chose last year went down a storm and they collected lots of important feedback.

Here is a picture of the indoor Arabian Tent we provided in 2012.

On our indoor marquees the lining is not only used on the inside, but also on the outside creating a really fun and inviting exterior.

After the great success of their last feedback day Bournemouth University asked us to provide another indoor marquee, but this time it was a seaside theme they were looking for. We jumped at the chance, and got to work creating a bespoke beach hut style marquee with matching deck chairs, cushions and accessories.

The beach hut tent along with all the marquee accessories are now available to hire, so do get in touch if you're planning a seaside themed party!

Events Director and Founder

Katherine is the founder of Arabian Tents and her day is a whirlwind of meeting clients, writing emails (lots of them!), brainstorming décor ideas and snatching moments to feel very lucky she loves what she does.

When throwing a party it’s always colourful, inviting, warm and relaxing – she loves the Purple Palace interior as it apparently looks good against everyone and she makes sure there is always a ‘surprise’ for guests, whether it be a secret room to discover, an alternative performance or after-dinner liqueur treats. She believes that people parties are important and moments at them are remembered for the rest of people’s lives, so it’s important to break the ice as fast as possible and get on with having fun! The next project she’s working on is a new structure design that should be manufactured and ready to be unveiled to the world next year!
