Our 2020 round up...
After a rocky start with lockdowns and social distancing, 2021 turned out to be quite an exciting year. While we started small and distanced, July 19th came around and brought us the freedom we all longed for. Our clients were ready to party with their loved ones and catch up on the celebrations that had to be put on hold. Overall, we set up over 100 events, 38 of which were weddings.
One very special wedding that had to be postponed due to the virus, finally took place in July and really made up for the wait.
One of our larger Oyster Pearl tents was erected over the course of 2 days and furnished with beautiful wooden tables and chairs, a large dance floor (which needed complete resurfacing after this wedding’s shenanigans!), stage and our pale oak bar. Our rustic pavilion was turned into an outdoor bar structure and pallet furniture, fire bowls and festoon lighting transformed the garden surrounding our marquee into a beautiful event space. Beautiful Bells set up bell tents in which the wedding guests could get some rest after a long night of dancing and celebrating the newly wed couple.
Overall, this wedding and its minimal, rustic look and feel has to be one of our favourites this year.
Another multi-day set up took place in Hook, hosting a Safari themed birthday celebration. Combining our Dana, the Lulette and multiple frame tents on top of a custom-made platform, allowed our client to transform a field into the venue of their dreams. A large team of suppliers, including Paula Rooney Floral Design and the event planners of Pocketful of Dreams worked tirelessly to create a celebration that won’t be forgotten.

While our Oyster Pearl tents are known for their elegant, white aesthetic and are a popular choice for our wedding couples, it also provides a brilliant blank canvas for other types of events like a corporate summer party that took place in Oxford. Colourful deckchairs, parasols, and tyre furniture, as well as tassel garlands and festoon fountains completely changed the look and feel of this tent. A large Santorini bar and a black LED dance floor were the heart of this summer party, while lounge furniture provided a place for some well-needed rest. Garlands, as well as deckchairs and cushions in the ‘viva la fiesta’ print perfectly described the scene of this event.
All in all, 2021 was a spectacular year for us and we can’t wait for what 2022 has in store for us!
