How to find us
The safest and most direct way to come down to Hollands Lane is off the A2037 by turning down Nep Town Road which will effortlessly turn into Mill Road and later Dropping Holms before it becomes Hollands Lane (which is essentially a track!)
Towards the end of Dropping Holms, your Sat Nav will more than likely tell you to turn left on to Station Road however this is the unassuming junction (the sign is rather small!) to stay on the straight and narrow onto Hollands Lane. Past this junction, you will see a sign to ‘Rye Farm’ at the start of the track (the middle of 3 tracks), which is bumpy in places and is around a mile long – follow this to the end until you see a gate with a road that leads left to the farmhouse and right to an oak-clad barn where the showroom is located.
A Sussex-based company from the outset - starting from a modest garage in Eastbourne, before relocating after a couple of years to an old cattle barn in the heart of Firle near Lewes – the artistic landscape of the famous Bloomsbury group at their home in Charleston Farmhouse lying on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the new South Downs National Park.
Now from a West Sussex base their marquee hire in the South East is hugely popular with clients from neighbouring counties Hampshire, Kent and Surrey, just as much as at home in West and East Sussex. Their actual marquees though transport clients a lot further – creating environments evocative of some much more far-flung parts of the world – clients regularly describe being ‘transported into outer Arabia from the comfort of my West Sussex home;
However, with a range of bespoke interiors and luxury marquees, The Arabian Tent Company have travelled almost as far and wide as their evocative tents’ inspiration and whilst they regularly deliver to the whole of UK, they have sent tents to Italy and Paris for beautiful weddings and even flown tents to Qatar for royal celebrations.
With both the warehouse and main office located in the heart of Sussex, you’ll find inspiring countryside all around on the journey to visit their showroom in Henfield.
The neighbouring town of Bolney and Ansty are fast becoming wine destinations and the countryside around displays all the evidence of this new enterprise as the gentle hills have been planted with vines. The view from the Arabian Tent Company offices regularly includes Roe and Fallow Deer as well as other wildlife, flora and fauna. With recent sightings of the elusive albino deer reported in Haywards Heath they are keeping an eye out!
They pride themselves on their award winning service, being the regional winner for marquee hire in the South East and London at the Wedding Industry awards both in 2013 and 2015, and with the judging based on both voters from those who have used their bespoke service, and inside industry experts, it confirms that The Arabian Tent Company is the definitive choice for marquee hire in the South East.
